MEG (Monoethylene Glycol)

Monoethylene glycol (MEG), commonly referred to as ethylene glycol, is an essential raw material widely used across numerous industrial applications. It is a colourless, odourless liquid with a mildly sweet taste and is fully miscible with water, alcohols, and many organic compounds. MEG is predominantly used in the manufacture of polyester fibres and also plays a crucial role in the production of antifreeze, engine coolants, and aircraft anti-icing and de-icing fluids.
